How should I prepare for the inspection?Good question! 1. Make sure that your phone in fully charged so that it will be able to last long enought for a 5-10 minute video chat. 2. Download a video chat app. If you have an iphone we will use facetime. If you have an android, we found the best video chat app is Skype but we will use whichever app you prefer. 3. Have a penny ready so that we can do a tire tread test to make sure your tires are suitable for ride share driving. The inspector helping you will guide you through the process and it is very quick and easy. 4. Most importantly, make sure that you are in a place that gets a good cell signal. If you can connect to wi-fi that would be best but make sure that your cellular data is on (sometimes you will be connected to your house wi-fi and when you go out to your car the signal disconnects) so that if this happens your data will keep your video chat connected. 5. Finally, make sure that your are in a well lit area. Especially if at night. Gas stations are a great place to go for lighting at night.
